What is Aion?

Aion is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-play game (MMORPG) by NCsoft. It uses the Cryengine to creative a visually stunning and immersive game world. There are two playable races: Elyos and Asmodians.

It features what NCsoft calls PvPvE (player vs. player vs. environment) where players not only fight against each other, but fight against or with the Balaur.

Aion also has a unique flying system, where player characters can take flight, and do combat while flying. However, flight time is not infinate, and it is possible for a player to fall to their death if they're not careful.

Where is Aion being released?

Aion is currently released in Korea and China. It is also scheduled to be released in the United States.

How much will Aion cost?

The retail box is going to cost approximately $50 (source: EBGames)

Aion uses a pay by the hour method on Korean and Chinese servers.

For the NA servers it will be a monthly payment of $14.99.
