Overview:Aion_Spiritmaster_Wind

Spiritmasters call upon the power of the four elements (fire, earth, wind, and water). Each element has a unique pet that the spiritmaster can call upon to fight for them. The Summoner is perhaps the most difficult class to play, since they must not only master their own spells, but determine which pet fits the current situation.

Weapons:

Spiritmasters are able to use spellbooks or orbs.

Armor:

As a caster class, spiritmasters are restricted to standard clothing and cloth armor, which afford very little in the way of defenses.

Summons:

*Listed in order of when they are first obtained.

Each summon goes through four different stages, where they become larger, and take on a new form.

Fire Elemental:

The fire elemental has a high p. atk, and medium defenses.

Wind Elemental:

The wind elemental is a melee fighter with a very high m.atk, but low defense. It is also extremely fast, with a speed of 11.

Earth Elemental:

The earth elemental is the heartiest of the four pets. It has the most hp, and extremely high defense.

Water Elemental:

The water elemental is the magical ranged pet. It has a high m. atk but fairly low defense.

Tempest Elemental:

This is the level 50 Elyos-only summon. It requires 200 dp to cast, and has a duration of 10 minutes.

Magma Elemental:

This is the level 50 Asmodian-only summon. It requires 200 dp to cast, and has a duration of 10 minutes.

Playstyle:

Spritmasters don't rely 100% on their pets like pet classes from other games. They are very capable casters on their own, but their pet adds a lot of flexibility. None of the pets are able to fly, which can cause problems in the abyss where some of the battle takes place in the air. Moreover, the elemental spirit spell (which summons 2 orbs of the appropriate element) is not able to be used while in flight either.

Summoners are also physically weak, with few defenses, so it is important to take full advantage of all snares and roots to keep an enemy at bay. Kiting is an absolutely necessary skill.
